How do I RSVP?

Formal invitations with be sent later this year. Upon receiving, please RSVP using the 'RSVP' section of this website, which will be available when invitations are sent. Please let us know if you have any questions in the meantime!

How should I get to Sarasota?

Please see the 'Travel' section for full details. We recommend flying into Sarasota Airport (SRQ), ~11 minutes away from the hotel via Uber, Lyft, or airport trolley. SRQ is a smaller airport, so flight availability may be limited. More flights are available to Tampa Airport (TPA), ~1 hr away by car, St. Petersburg-Clearwater Airport (PIE), 1 hour away by car, or Orlando Airport (MCO), ~2 hours away by car.

What is the dress code?

For the wedding, Black Tie Optional: Please feel welcome to dress up with us—we want everyone to feel their best! Tuxedos or suits, as well as long dresses, gowns, or polished cocktail attire, are all perfect.

How should I get to the welcome party? 

Our welcome party will be on the rooftop of Sage Restaurant, located at 1216 1st St, right across the street from the Ritz Carlton (&lt;5 minutes walk, or a 2-minute drive). If walking, walk left out of the front entrance, down the side driveway past the Westin, and cross the street. Sage is half a block ahead on the right. If you prefer to drive, Sage offers complimentary valet parking.

Are children invited?

We love your children, but want you to have a night off! We understand many of you may want to make this a weekend with your families -- please reach out if you need childcare recommendations for Saturday night.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

We kindly ask that you leave any photos during the ceremony to the photographer, and do not take your own photos during the ceremony. We want to see your faces, not your phones! There will be plenty of time for photos throughout the rest of the evening.

What's the best way to get around Sarasota?

Rideshares are readily available via Uber/Lyft. Sarasota has a free downtown trolley to bring guests throughout town (please note, this is a different trolley than the airport trolley). There is also a trolley from SRQ airport to downtown hotels. For more info on both trolley options, please visit: https://sais.org/sarasota-transportation/

Will there be parking? 

Valet parking is available. More details can be found at the hotel website, or in details under Travel.

Airports

Sarasota International Airport (SRQ)

SRQ is a 10-15 minute drive from the hotel and downtown Sarasota and has consistent Uber and Lyft availability A trolley is also available every 30 minutes from 7am-8:30pm between SRQ and downtown hotels for $2pp (<a href="https://flysrq.com/sites/default/files/2024-01/76%20Flyer_digital%20rack%20card.pdf" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">info</a>)

Tampa International Airport (TPA)

TPA is a 1hr drive away from Sarasota, but may offer more flight options across additional airlines

Car Rental & Transport

A car is likely not necessary unless you plan on spending more time traveling around the area. Rideshares are readily available and Sarasota's downtown is walkable and has regular trolleys to/from the airport and around town If you'd still like to rent a car, car rentals are available at SRQ, TPA, or MCO through Hertz, Enterprise, Alamo, etc.

Ritz Carlton Beach Club

Only available to guests staying at the Ritz Carlton, including on day of departure (complimentary with hotel stay) The Beach Club has a beautiful beach, pool, hot tub/jacuzzi, and bar/restaurant. There are suitcase-sized lockers and showers available if you wish to use the beach/pool on check-out day A complimentary shuttle runs hourly between the hotel and beach club (top of the hour from the hotel, on the half-hour back)

Lido Key

Lido Key is the closest beach to the Ritz Carlton. It's a beautiful beach and easily accessible to dining and shopping options at St. Armand's Circle

Siesta Beach

Siesta Beach in Sarasota has been voted the best beach in the U.S., and the 4th best beach in the world, for its powdery quartz sand and clear blue water

The Ringling Museum

Florida's official art museum, with a wide range of cultures, mediums, techniques, and stories, as well as beautiful outdoor gardens

Marie Selby Botanical Gardens 

A vast, peaceful bayfront plant and flower sanctuary, featuring one of the world’s preeminent collections of epiphytic plants (especially orchids, bromeliads, and ferns)

Save our Seabirds Learning Center 

A non-profit wildlife conservation and education sanctuary, housing over 120 rescue birds, open from 10am-4pm daily
